The Mannysub hybrid roller speargun incorporates incredible performance, simplicity, functionality,  made from the best light weight materials available .

The extra kicker rubber helps the 8mm shaft accelerate quicker, giving the speargun extra power, range, penetration especially at the end of the range. The speargun has little recoil, great manoeuvrability and consistent accuracy .

Thanks to the roller design, 100% of the barrel length is used to propel the spear shaft combined with a shorter spear shaft compared to the rubber stretch and with pre tensioned rubbers a lot of extra power is generated.

Lack of penetration and limited shooting range will be a thing of the past. The mannysub hybrid roller roller performer plus 110cm has effective range of 6.3 metres / 21 feet

The power is in excess of conventional triple rubber spearguns thanks to the addition of the extra kicker rubber. This rubber can be quickly removed  if need be or can also be loaded by itself  for fish in caves so the shaft doesn’t get damaged.

Thanks to the roller design you can now benefit of handling a much shorter and lighter speargun through the water that packs lots of punch with little recoil. It can be fired with one hand without the worry of hurting your wrist. This light and low profile barrel makes it ideal to hunt in strong current, rough conditions or with fast moving fish and most of all perfect for traveling.

This is  a great speargun if you chase large reef fish and pelagics. However the setup can be changed by simply removing the  kicker rubber  and swapping the shaft to a 7mm. This  turn it  into the  roller performer model that utilises only one rubber through the rollers, making more suitable for fish around the reef .

Mannysub roller hybrid roller speargun specifications:

Shaft: 8mm  harden spring stainless with 5 shark fins with double offset floppers. One of the shark fins is placed in the middle of the shaft to help during the loading process. Thanks to this feature, makes this roller speargun very versatile compared to other roller spearguns on the market. These shafts are factory certified to be  straight. These are one of the  finest shafts currently in the market with an amazing finish and high attention to detail.

Barrel: Foam filled,  2mm thick 30mm OD carbon fibre with build in track for maximum stiffness and lightweight,  available in several custom colours.

Handle: The new glass filled nylon handle comes with a thick white silicon grip, a silicon loading butt and an ergonomic removable right hand grip offering a much more comfortable grip compared to a generic grip. The right thumb rest can be easily removed via a screw for left handed people. The handle comes with the latest and best mechanism currently in the market, a reverse gold finished stainless double roll trigger mechanism. This design allows for very smooth firing whether it’s one rubber or five rubbers, the trigger pressure required remains the same to release the shaft. Also the trigger travel is very sensitive with no long delays before release of the shaft. The reverse trigger gives the rubbers an extra 5cm stretch for extra power. The stainless golden cassette offers the option of placing the line release left or right. The white handle grip makes it easier to locate it underwater.

Bearings:

Bearings: The acetal/glass roller bearings are light-weight and low-friction for excellent  power transfer. Made from acetal, with encapsulated glass balls to stop sand and salt-water damage, these bearings are virtually maintenance free. They will ensure many years of trouble-free use.

The ceramic bearing option will make it a bit easier to load while adding a bit of extra power, smoothness and reliability. We are so confident in these bearings that we offer a LIFE TIME WARRANTY

Rubbers: Available in two options: Reactive mannysub 16 + 14mm (standard setup)easy to load and great power or with 18 + 16 mm for max power to propel the 8mm shaft out at very high speed. This setup makes this speargun ideal for hunting big pelagics or big reef species.

Shooting line: Double wrap of Mannysub 1.7mm / 430kg heavy duty stiff dyneema shooting line. This line has excellent abrasion resistant qualities and incredible durability.

A reel is available to suit the handle.

The 100 cm hybrid roller speargun requires an 8mm x 140 cm double flopper shaft or an 8mm x 130 cm threaded shaft plus the slip tip
The 110 cm hybrid roller speargun  requires an 8mm x 150 cm double flopper shaft or an 8mm x 140 cm threaded shaft plus the slip tip
The 120 cm hybrid roller speargun requires an 8mm x 160 cm double flopper shaft or an 8mm x 150 cm threaded shaft plus the slip tip
