Product Description
The all new Mannysub 8mm custom spear shafts are superbly finished. The attention to detail needs to be seen to be believed.
These are among the few shafts in the market that are factory certified for straightness.
A perfectly straight shaft will greatly improve the accuracy of the speargun.
The new offset floppers are as tough as they come. Made from hardened stainless steel, 83mm long, 1.3 mm thick with a 2.4 mm pin welded on each end to ensure greater reliability, these floppers are well tuned and ready to go.
This innovative double offset flopper 8 mm 17-4PH hardened spring stainless shaft also features 5 mini shark fins. The mini shark fins are only 3.5 mm high and will work on any gun wit closed, open muzzles and enclosed tracks.
Welded shark fins deliver ultimate strength to the shaft. Unlike traditional cut out notches, they don’t cause a weak spot. This makes the shaft less likely to break and bend at the notches when fighting big fish.
The last shark fin is welded further back than conventional shafts, yielding  an extra 5 cm of rubber stretch. Thanks to the position of the last shark fin, two bridles can be overlapped on top of one another on the same shark fin.
The back shark fin comes with a pre-drilled hole as an alternative place for connecting the shooting line. This option makes it suitable for all spearguns with enclosed tracks.
The first shark fin is located  60 cm from the back of the shaft to help during the loading process. The second shark fin is positioned in the middle between the first and last 3 shark fin.
The five mini shark fins make loading a lot easier, especially on roller spearguns and normal spearguns, while at the same time helping to depower the roller system when shooting smaller fish near the bottom. This increases the versatility of the spear gun.
The rear 3 mini shark fins will accommodate up to 4 rubbers, making this shaft  suitable for use on conventional  4 rubber blue water guns. 2 rubbers  can be overlapped on top of each other on the most rear shark fin and the other 2 rubbers on the other 2 shark fins.
The hardened stainless steel used in the manufacture of these spears has excellent corrosion resistance – the shafts do not rust.
These shafts will suit all European/South African handles and Riffe euro mechanisms.
